Tuesday was a PP Day.
Daily Weight Loss: Stayed the same.
Total Weight Loss: 67.1 lb/30.51 kg
It’s a new morning and although the sun isn’t shining (still)… I played the song “Here Comes The Sun” on the walk to work to cheer me up! I have heat lamps with UV lighting in my guest shower and spent a couple extra minutes basking in it this morning, as well 😀
Breakfast: Tea Eggs
Lunch: Steamed fish with onions and chili peppers and spicy spices!
Dinner: Stir fried sirloin with lots and lots and lots of Italian herbs on it and garlic stems.
Water: A little more than 2 Liters.
I wore my new Levis “skinny” jeans that Terri talked me into buying. I’m not use to wearing clothes that hug my body, but with the pinches and pokes I received today from the doctors (they’re all ladies) I think I pulled it off… LOL. It is very cool wearing “normal” sized clothes. I believe it was the late 80’s the last time I wore clothes smaller than size 16 (for those of you that aren’t from the States, size 16 is an 18 UK, and the first “big girl” size).
I taught a class today in the afternoon… International Patient Safety Goal #5: Reduce the risk of Hospital Acquired Infections. It was well received and most of them paid attention. Challenging teaching people that don’t speak your language. I have to trust that my personal assistant Kitty is translating what I say. I do, for the most part.
I am still trying to get over the jet lag, I’m now able to stay awake to nearly 10 p.m. Woo hoo! I hope everyone is having an amazing day!
Ciao!
Quote of the day:
Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

Happy Valentine Day. Good for you to treat yourself to extra time with the uv lighting in the shower. I had a friend that always use a sun lamp in the winter to get extra uv rays. Montana does get darker in winter (Sunny till 11 pm in the summer). She had to have a good dose of sun everyday to be functional.
Hope your jet lag improves. You are a sun baby aren’t you.
I’m a total sun baby. I suffer from S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder) and I’m not going to let it get the best of me 🙂
When I was in the UK (actually in winter here in NZ too) I bought a seasonal affective disorder alarm. It has a special light bulb in it and it starts to glow gently and gets brighter and brighter over 30 minutes so that when the alarm actually sounds it is at its brightest. It was a much more gentle way to wake up – only problem is when I stepped outside to go to work it was still very dark outside. I struggled with the lack of day-light in the UK, it really got me down and I spent a lot of time inside and on the couch as I was of the mindset when it is dark you sit inside…. I like my sun too!
I’ve heard of these, I’m going to have to look into it. Sounds like a lovely way to wake up 🙂
You always were a sun baby despite the fact we lived in Maryland and it snowed on your birthday. :3 but then, maybe that’s why you love the south.
Thank God you moved us back to Florida when I was 13 months old… I consider myself a Florida native, Mom 🙂
And since I have lived here since 1937( except for brief time in Maryland (18 mo’s) I consider myself A Florida Cracker.
