Well, this will be a short blog! I typed up a whole blog this afternoon on the work computer (during lunch) and forgot to email it to myself, so you’ll get two tomorrow 🙂
Short version… Lost .2 lbs, had pork chops for lunch in Hong Kong, flew back to Hangzhou in the evening.
Bucket List resolutions kept and/or worked on today: #6, #7, #13, #14… not bad!
Ciao!
2nd quote of the day: Bitterness is like cancer. It eats upon the host. But anger is like fire. It burns it all clean ~ Maya Angelo … Lucy said I needed to add working on my anger to my bucket list… Maybe I don’t, I prefer to be clean 😀
Pic of the day: Sadie, Aleisha & Sydnie… Paris 2009
Enjoyed reading this and looking forward to the next. Love the pics >3 Mom
I love both of those pics!
And I love all the people in them!!! ❤
Anger does have it’s benefit. Yes it runs through you like a charge. It is an opportunity to learn about your self. Ask yourself “What am I really angry about” and “What else am I angry about” Never waste a good anger. Always learn.
Thanks, Kathy… for a pretty laid back chick, there are some things that just light me on fire! When you rile me up… Let’s just say I’m a fighter 😀
Happy New Year!!
Congrats on losing weight during the holidays and with so much traveling.
You are an inspiration. I gained 2.2 kg over the holidays but reading your blog I am now more than inspired to start over, lose those 2 suckers and keep losing!!!
Great photos! 🙂 Last year I worked on my anger and I think a few different things helped. 1) Anxiety Meds. I realized after I started taking them that much of my anger was rooted in my own anxiety. When I take my meds regularly, I barely ever feel ‘anger’ and when I do, it’s justified. 2) I read Thich Naht Hanh’s “Anger”… great book 🙂 Good luck!
Thanks for the advise 🙂 I will look up the book tonight when I’m home from work!
