Dukan – Day 71

Sunday was a PV day.
Daily weight loss: 0.4 lb/0.2 kg
Total weight loss: 39.8 lb/18.11 kg

I started out my morning with scrambled eggs with onions and garlic stems.

I had a great day out yesterday. My assistant Kitty took me to an amazing market that had TONS of art supplies! I got all this for $40 USD:

After the market we went across town to the “western mall” and had a yummy lunch at a place like Benihana’s, but it only cost me $14 for both of us!

Then we went grocery shopping… Lovely afternoon.

When I got back I painted… This is what I whipped up:

It’s my third painting… it is so relaxing to create something.

Dinner was a half roasted chicken with onions and asparagus.

I then chatted on the phone for a bit, caught up with the Abu Dhabi girls after that and then did a 30 minute walk-jog combo on the iPhone… Couch to 5k…

Home for a yogurt with bran and Splenda, and then off to bed. It was a very satisfying day!

Ciao!

  1. Sounds indeed like a great day! My BF and my daughter were in a pissy mood all weekend, even though the weather was great outside, so my weekend wasn’t so amazing! I couldn’t motivate them to do anything. So I spent most of it ignoring both of them and reading (my favorite thing in the world).

    • I’m sorry you didn’t have the best day 😦 I love reading too! I used to read a couple of novels every week. Now I read the Dukan book every night… strengthens my resolve 🙂

  2. Sounds like you had a fantastic day with friends. Wasn’t feeling too good myself. but after a few hours of trying to fix it with things like alka-seltzer and such. I finally went to my most reliable remedy and it settled me down. A cup of warm chicken bouillon cube. It works every time. Took my latest novel and went to bed. Much better today.

  3. Ok, my favorite thing in the world is obviously cuddling with my daughter (4 1/2). My second favorite thing is reading (but then again, I am a literature professor, so it better be). But the Dukan book is translated so badly into Italian that it’s impossible to re-read it … it also contains such gems as the advise to go to a restaurant and order first octopus carpaccio and then a steak, which if you do in Italy, they will throw you out of the country (mixing seafood and meat in one meal secures you a place in one of the lower circles of Dante’s Inferno)…

  4. Oh what a wonderful day. That food does look good.Thank you for sharing your day.
Enjoyed and even thought to get my art supplies out.

Keep up your good work. You are getting there.
