I can’t believe it’s been 21 days since my arm surgery! I’ve been a very bad blogger π¦ Coming home has been amazing and overwhelming.
The surgery on my arms is called a brachioplasty or arm lift. It removes the excess skin from your upper arms.
I have to say that the pain is less than the liposuction I had in May. It’s different, but not as bad. The first 3.5 days I have NO recall of. The anesthesia used was Valium and Ketamine. The Ketamine causes amnesia and it sure worked for me!
So here is a before and after. This “after pic is Day 12 post op:
And this is a close up of my left arm. There is still some swelling, but I’m very pleased with the results. My surgeon is Dr. Donato Viggiano. He is awesome and I highly recommend him.
How is everyone else doing? I promise to get back on track with posts about Dukan, Consolidation, Paleo and running (which I can’t do until next week) π¦
Ciao!
Wow Sandi! Can I just say you look so YOUNG and fit? Great job! π Your doctor must be very proud of you … you’re doing everything they ask of you as a patient … and that will guarantee the best results. Way to go!!
MJ
Thanks, MJ… Trying to follow directions. I m so pleased with them. I’ve been doing some light yoga, but no running until next Monday!
You look super.I was amazed when i saw the results last week. Stick to your routine and all will be well very soon.:)
Thanks, Mom! It’s your good genes that help π
Awesome, you can totally see definition in your arms! And enjoy the time with family & friends, don’t worry about us bloggers, we’ll still be here! π
Katie, that is totally the first thing I noticed was the definition in my biceps and shoulders! It’s a great feeling! Are you still down in NOLA?
Yea! Way to be a good role model and take care of yourself FIRST. π I miss hearing your updates. Just because you’re in the US and not China doesn’t mean you don’t have stories to tell! π (How do you like that double negative)?
It’s been crazy busy since I got here. I’m still not in permanent housing, living out of a suitcase, lol. Feel like a vagabond!
Well, you’re a beautiful vagabond!
Awww, thanks π
Sandi, I am so happy for you….you look fantastic. Oh no! I just read that you are still living out of a suitcase. I remember that unsettled feeling and hope that you are able to begin sending out some roots; however, I know that you will bloom wherever you are planted (I plagiarized that from somewhere).
Can’t wait to see you next week.
Thanks, Mona! I can’t wait to see you, too! Living out of a suitcase is challenging. It just means at some point ill find just the right place!
