Today was a PP day π
Daily Weight Loss: 0.4 lb/0.2 kg
Total Weight Loss: 54.1 lb/24.61 kg
I had a blast today at work. Today was bathing babies day (I get to do this one per week) and I had to take care of 3 babies… yes, totally crazy that I’m there to do Quality Assurance work and they pay me good money to do this, but I LOVE it! They have Bach and Beethoven playing in the background, you bath the baby, put it in the tank for swimming then give it a massage before dressing it… takes about 25 minutes per baby.
Anyway, it’s a great way to do audits on Infection Control, baby banding, etc…. so I get to bath babies, listen to Bach and do Quality Assurance work… Nice π
Lucy started Dukan on Sunday and Tuesday was Day 3 Attack for her. She has to do 4 days, so I’m doing them with her. Yesterday she asked me if I was starving all the time, um, no… for some reason when you reduce your food intake AND are on lots of protein, you just ain’t hungry between meals… she snuck a few Skittles!!! Gasp! Anyway, tomorrow is the last day, I’m hoping she’ll be happy… come on, Lucy… you can do it!
Breakfast: 2 tea eggs
Lunch: 3 slices smoked ham, 2 tea eggs
Dinner: Sirloin stir-fried with garlic and onions and generously sprinkled with curry seasonings… YUMMY!
I didn’t get my snack in.. I just didn’t have the desire to eat when I wasn’t hungry, so I didn’t get my bran… I’ll make sure I get it on Wednesday.
I had over 1.5 liters of water, only 2 coffees and 1 coke zero
After dinner I went for what was suppose to be a walk, because it’s cold AND rainy, and I’m terrified of messing up my knees. I strapped on my iPod and head phones and started out with GI Jane soundtrack… 3 songs in Conspiracy came on… that just gets me going… so I started doing the circuit running that I do on C25K… I did 2 mins. of running, 4 mins. of walking for 42 minutes… I’m getting a little bit more comfortable running on wet surfaces.
Well, off to work I go! I hope everyone is having a great week!
Ciao!

Sandi, I can see in the photo you love your job – well the part where you get to bath the little ones π
Pass on my “good luck wishes” to lucy. I was so amazed that I could eat so little and not experience hunger pains but you do have to stay away from the carbs I think to get the benefit of no hunger pains.
Well done on getting your exercise/run in. I find my favorite tunes really help me. The worst part is getting your gear on and well getting out of bed if you do happen to do it first thing in the morning. I am the queen of procrastination – you would be surprised with what things need doing before I run!! But for me to squeeze a run in during the mornings I need to get up and go without any delay so I get to work on time. What ever works for youβ¦ but I have become addicted to my daily run – boy do I get cranky the days I miss them for whatever reason π
Good work on the loss – you were already ahead of schedule but that puts you further ahead – how much more did you want to lose before your holiday?
I’ll pass on your good wishes. OK! To run in the morning I’d definitely have to get up at 515, since morning is when I type up my blog from the day before. Also I walk the 1.5 kms to work and, hmmmm, I might just try it tomorrow morning, LOL and see how I like it.
I want to be down 55 pounds by January 16. Less than a pound to go, keeping fingers, toes, etc crossed π
Thanks for your support, it is much appreciated!
Getting up at 5:15am is crazy…. (if I do say so myself) you seem to have no problems doing it later in the day, I would keep doing what you are doing now, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix n’ all!
I just knew it would be too hot in the afternoon to run Millie so given it is just a once off I got up at 5:30am, I do normally get up and take her at 6am but I am a morning person and don’t stay up late at night generally.
You are so going to get your 55 pounds, you might even get 56 at the rate you are going!
It would be pushing it to get up that early… but I am also an early to bed girl. It would certainly be quieter at the time! I’ll try it once and see how it goes π 56 lbs gone would be awesome to go home with!
Just to say I absolutely love your “quotes of the day”. They get me every time! SO true.
Glad you enjoy them, Sonia… Going to pop over to your blog when home after dinner π
Hi Sandi, I hope I have put the correct ‘follow by email’ button on now. I’m not very good at this computer stuff! π I love your blog, the pictures are great, I especially love the baby bath picture, its gorgeous. Babies do melt the heart. I sometimes wish my little one was a baby again (she was less trouble, hehe!)I have been working my way through your older posts and I can only hope my weight loss journey is as successful as yours. Sonia.
Little behind in my reading. But can see you are staying on course. You and baby look very happy with bath time. Wish luck to Lucy for me. With you coaching I know she will reach her goal. You look fab and she will too >3 Mom
Thanks, Mom π Lucy says thanks, too! Love you!
Finally a photo of your back. You are looking good there.
Do not get stuck on the number thing. You will look good at 54 or even 53. Hanging on to numbers is a set up for disappointment. Must rejoice your were you are at.
Great advise, Kathy!
