Sunday was a PV day (two in row, I was traveling)
Daily Weight Loss: 0.2 lb/0.1 kg (actually that a 2 day weight loss)
Total Weight Loss: 34.8 lb/15.81 kg
So, I guess I didn’t blow my diet by eating blue cheese, but I won’t do it again. I’m very dedicated to losing this weight. I’ve set a few goals for myself and plan on meeting them. I haven’t figured out how to make the “goal” bar on the side of my blog, so I’m going to list them here and revisit them every 2 weeks:
1. Lose 5 pounds by my holiday to Thailand with Cathy, Karen and Dominique. Date to meet this goal: November 8. So, that is 15 days from now, and I think that is attainable. This will bring me to a total weight loss of 40 pounds.
2. Lose 10 pounds by my 48th birthday on December 3rd. That is 41 days from now, and I think that is attainable. This would be 45 pounds weight loss.
3. Lose 20 pounds by my vacation to home on January 13. That is 82 days from now, and I think that is attainable. That would be a total of 55 pounds lost.
That is 1.6 pounds a week between now and January 13. I know it’s attainable… no thinking about it 🙂
So, because of my indulgence over the weekend, I’m going to do 2 PP days in a row and kick my body back into weight loss mode… I want a good head start to meet these goals. And if any of my fellow bloggers can give me an inside tip on how you do those cool goal things on the side of your blog, I’d be grateful for the info 🙂 I am so close to the 35 pound mark… hoping it’s tomorrow!!! I hope you all are having a blessed week!
Goals seem attainable and you are one determined gal. There is room for any event that may take place. I think you have thought things out very well. Yes you can do it.
How did you feel being away from the scales. Has that been a problem for you in all your travels??
I need a little wiggle room because I’ve got a 12 day vacation in Thailand in a couple of weeks 🙂 And I LOVE Thai food! I miss the scale when I don’t have it… I’m actually taking it on my holiday with me to Thailand. I do not want to go 2 weeks without a weigh in… need to stay in control! I could have taken the scale with me to Hong Kong, but I thought it was just an overnight and it was a nice break… thanks so much for the encouragement, Kath!!! I was actually reading your blog when this message came through 🙂
Your goals seem very attainable at the rate you go! you should have no problem at all!!
I am not sure how the side bars can be added with wordpress, sorry!!!
I think that staying away from the scales a day or two sometimes turns out to be a good thing… but not much longer as seeing a stall or an “up” is like a little alarm saying: get back on track!!!
Thanks for the support 🙂 I think you are right, missing a weigh in isn’t always a bad thing, but missing too many can be a very bad thing 😀
You’ve been so dedicated & have worked so hard on this diet (even with that small cheat) that I’m positive you can reach all your goals. 🙂
Thank you, Vicki! I so appreciate your support!
You are like the little engine that could… And you will reach your peak… You have faced many challenges and won the battle and will do it again. “There aint no mountain so high.”
Thanks, Mom 🙂 It’s rewarding when you get on the scale… I’m starting to notice in the mirror, too 🙂 xoxo
