I can’t believe that I’ve been in Phase 3 aka Consolidation for 449 days! And that I’ve maintained my weight loss! And that I’m still wearing size 8 jeans and pants. And that it’s almost been 2 years since I started this journey. Time flies. With the exception of a 12 pound weight gain when I went to Australia, I’ve maintained a stable weight between 155 and 165.
Dukan’s True Weight: 165
Starting Weight: 255
Lowest Weight: 144 (I looked to thin at this weight, and decided 155 range was better for me).
Today’s Weight: 158
I’m happy with that. I’m happy with me. I’m happy in general π
I’m walking everyday, sometimes twice! And I’ve started Couch to 5K again, because Tiffany wants to do it. I amped up my workouts….
Ignore that personal best pace… Sometimes RunKeeper screws up, lol.
Breakfast: 2 eggs
Snack: FF Greek yogurt
Lunch: 2 lean sirloin burgers with grilled onions (of course no bun)
Dinner: 4 pork spare ribs and asparagus spears steamed
Snack: FF Greek yogurt with Splenda and 2 Tbs flax seed meal
Water: 3+ liters
Exercise: Walk in morning (4.7 miles), 45 minutes of yoga, moved all boxes out if my 5×10 storage unit to get to the desk in the back and moved them back in.
Some pic from my walks this week:
KAPONE TUCKERED OUT AFTER 1 HOUR WALK!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
Ciao!
Sunrise or sunset? Beautiful either way!
Sunrise… I get up around 535 and out the door by 550. Cool enou at that hour.
My evening walks are usually after the sun has set and its cooled off a bit π
Wow! Sandy I have 2 q’s if you could please help me with…how much oil do you use daily? And do you alternate PP/PV, or 2 days of each? I KNOW I am using too much fat to cook with…
Thanks
Ana
Hi Ana… Always happy to answer questions!
I usually use 2 Tbs of either coconut oil or olive oil when I cook. I consider them healthy oils. When I cook my eggs, I smear a little olive oil on a paper towel and pie it in the pan, so I’d say a “smidge” of oil then.
I’m in part 2 of Consolidation, so I’m allowed to celebration meals a week. My schedule typically goes:
Monday: PP
Tuesday: PV
Wednesday: PV with celebration meal at dinner
Thursday: ALWAYS a PP day (Dr. Dukan’s recommended PP day)
Friday: PP
Saturday: PV
Sunday: PV with a celebration meal at dinner.
My “celebration” typically includes sweet potatoes or crinkle cuts potatoes and a glass of wine. Sometimes a dessert.
My diet is completely gluten free.
Thanks a bunch! How about during the Cruise phase?Did you alternate PP/PV?
I did alternate PP one day, PV the next. Worked very well for me π
Thanks for the meal tips. Boiled me some eggs this evening for this week’s bfast.
I burned my boiled eggs this morning! Ack!! Forgot them on the stove. Going to make tea eggs later this week.
Tea eggs are boiled eggs, aren’t they?
Yep… And here’s the recipe. Just note that instead of the two soy sauces, I use Tamari, because I’m avoiding SOY and Tamari is gluten-free, most soy sauces are not.
